In 2011, Elina Duni performed at the festival with her quartet. She now returns with her latest solo programme. Originating from Albania, she sings folk songs from her motherland, which she frugally accompanies on the piano or with percussion instruments. In this intimate atmosphere, she sings and tells her audience very personal stories. They are stories of departure and of the deep sorrow of leaving her beloved country behind.
